I do not know how often I'll be able to update this blog, but you can expect at least one entry on the night of Aug. 8 from New York City. The following morning we get right into the trip beginning at 9 a.m. with an orientation that lasts several hours. Then we fly for several hours to Poland, where we must be active for several hours. We go straight from the plane to sightseeing.

Very exciting. I might add more background about the trip and other things in the next few hours leading up to my departure for Portland 's airport and then New York City.

This will be my first stop in NYC, and I'm sad that it's only for one quick night. Definitely my first time is Poland and Israel too.
